''Twenty years ago, my father died after being ill for a very long time. He couldn't afford to go to the hospital. I was only 15 but I felt so helpless and useless not being able to fight for him. I promised myself I would do whatever it takes to stop feeling this way. A few years later, I looked at my mother and wondered if she ever got sick, what would I do? And that scared me. At that moment, I knew I had to do something to at least be able to provide him with decent healthcare. I always wonder what it would be like if my father were still alive today. I wish I could have him in my life today, even for just one day. ''
