Music: For having brought together more than 40,000 people at his concert, Paris la Défense Arena (U-ARENA) presents Fally Ipupa with a plaque of merit confirming his real 40,000 seats.

hreatened by certain Fighters, finally took place peacefully, to the great happiness of thousands of Warriors from all over the world.

In this unforgettable evening for African music in general and Congolese in particular, the legendary defector from the Quartier Latin International orchestra, FALLY IPUPA lived up to the event, with several big names in African song invited for this occasion, notably the famous Senegalese singer Youssou Ndour, Naza and Keblack, Dadju, Aya Nakamura, the Franco-Congolese Singula and the Frenchman of Cameroonian origin Tayc, who just added something extra to this all-out concert in this legendary hall.

An important security device was placed 500 meters from the hall, with more than 5 thousand uniformed police officers including 3 thousand bikers circled the perimeter to ensure the safety of spectators for this great evening considered by some fans as the party of music and the assured return of DR Congolese music on the European scene.

At 45, the Congolese star likes challenges. “I prefer to be the guide rather than the follower,” he admits, sure of himself and his talent. But he has something to brag about. Already in 2007, he became the first Congolese artist of his generation to play a sold-out show at the Olympia. Ten years later, the former protégé of Koffi Olomidé saw his fourth album, Tokooss, be certified gold. A first, once again, for a singer from the DRC. Africa wins. Congratulations to the Artist!
